Cancellation and Refund Timeline
Above 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: A complete refund except for service charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Requirements: Must be officially requested via electronic mail or telephone
24-72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the returned amount
Requirements: A valid excuse is required; administrative expenses may be incurred
Less Than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: No reimbursement available
Exceptions: Emergency situations will be taken into consideration
Alternative: A credit for future charters may be granted at the discretion of management
Requirements: Proof is necessary for emergency cases
Cancellations Due to Weather
Our Commitment to Safety
Our highest concern is safety. Should the weather make charter operations unsafe as determined by our certified captain, we provide several options:
- Complete Refund: Should rescheduling not be an option, a full refund will be provided
- Rescheduling: Move your booking to an alternate available day at no additional expense
- Charter Credit: Obtain a credit that is valid for one year from the original charter date
Weather Decision-Making
Evaluating the weather includes:
- Evaluation of wind velocity and direction
- Assessment of wave magnitude and sea state
- Forecasts concerning visibility and precipitation
- Advisories and warnings from the Coast Guard
- Safety assessment by a professional captain
Decision Timing: Final decisions regarding weather cancellations are made no later than 4 hours before the scheduled departure.
Emergency Medical Refunds
Health-Related Emergencies
Situations that may warrant special refund consideration include:
- A sudden medical condition or injury necessitating hospital care
- A death within the immediate family
- Military orders or urgent recall
- Being summoned for jury duty or court
- Travel impediments due to natural disasters
Required Documents
Please submit the following to address emergency refund requests:
- A medical statement or documentation from the hospital
- Certificate of death (if relevant)
- Documentation regarding military directives
- Notice of jury duty or court subpoena
- Travel warnings or declarations of emergencies
Procedure: Funds returned for emergencies are processed within a period of 3-5 working days after all necessary documents are provided.
Cancellations Related to Operations
Technical Difficulties
If the assigned yacht encounters irreparable mechanical issues:
- Alternate Yacht: A comparable substitute will be sought
- Complete Refund: If a suitable replacement isn't accessible
- Partial Refund: In the event the substitute yacht carries a different rate
- Reimbursement: Extra compensation might be provided as consolation
Lack of Crew
In the rare instance when certified crew members aren't available:
- Substitute crew will be arranged if possible
- Complete refund if the charter cannot go forward
- Rescheduling without additional charges
Refund Issuance
Forms of Payment
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment utilized for the booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 working days
- Direct Bank Deposits: 7-10 working days
- Cash/Check: 3-5 working days
Service Charges
Credit Card Handling
A €50 fee for cancellations occurring above 72 hours prior to the charter
Bank Transfer Handling
A €25 fee for all refunds conducted via bank transfer
International Transaction Handling
Further charges may be applied for refunds across borders
Credits for Charters
Eligibility for Credits
Credits for future charters might be extended instead of refunds under certain conditions:
- Late cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Charters canceled due to weather
- Requests to reschedule initiated by the client
- Unexpected operational obstacles
Terms for Credits
- Validity: Effective for 12 months post-issuance
- Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred to different individuals
- Amount: Equivalent to the full value of the charter; no handling fees applied
- Application: May be used for any available charter
- Non-Extensible: No extensions past the 12-month limit
Compensation for Partial Services
Interruptions in Service
If your yacht rental is interrupted or shortened for reasons within our control:
- Refund based on the proportion of service unused
- Credit equivalent to a future rental of similar value
- Gratuitous services or upgrades
Early Termination Due to Guests
In the event of premature cessation of the charter due to guest behavior or safety breaches:
- No reimbursement for the remainder of the service
- Total payment due
- Possible additional fees
Settling Disputes
Should you challenge a refund determination, the following options are available:
- Call for a management review
- Submit supplementary documents or evidence
- Contact consumer protection groups
- Explore legal avenues consistent with the law

Step 3: Evaluation and Action
We will confirm receipt of your plead within 24 hours, assess it against our policy, communicate a decision within 48 hours, and finalise the approved refunds within the given timelines.
Vital Information
- All requests for refunds must be documented
- Reimbursements are conducted in € regardless of the original payment's currency
- It is highly advised to have travel insurance
- This policy can change, given a 30-day notice
- Refunds are inclusive of relevant taxes and legal stipulations
